So, what pets do you have? What would you like to have? I have a deep-rooted fascination with domestic animals of all kinds, from dogs to cats to horses to rabbits to fancy rats to guinea pigs...so, in a perfect world, I will end up living on a ranch or very large house with as many pets as I can possibly take care of and be in as many animal performance sports and animal fancies as I can be in without taking a toll on my job.
Alas, I'm in college and they don't let us keep animals in the dorm. I've got two moggie-cats, the unfortunately named Socks and Boots, back home (read: they're mutts) who I love dearly, but that doesn't change the fact I really, really want a dog. A Cardigan Welsh Corgi (or several), if you haven't figured that out from my avatar. They're small, entergetic, faithful, intelligent,
Friesians are my favorite horse breed- they're incredibly elegant and gentle cold-bloods (e.g. draft horses) that excel in dressage and similar disciplines.
Cornish Rexes, a.k.a. the alien cats, are my favorite cat breed. They don't shed, they look cool, they're trainable (for a cat), playful, and they're closer in personality to a dog than anything else.
