One of the many things I have noticed, especially on Quizilla, people don't seem to take the idea of writing seriously, and the results are horrifying even to me. But maybe carelessness isn't the only problem, maybe there are some people who have never been exposed to writing story be it original or fanfiction.
...I've been there, you've been there...heck we've all been there! Sometimes all people need are just a bit of help and a small push to start them on their journey as a writer. If this forum is dedicated to Tales fanstories, then why not set something aside for the very basics of writing itself?

I'm hoping that Alas! will be able to cover that requirement. I'm writing the third part now, and the second will be c-p'd from LJ today.

Chi does have a point, though. Alas! covers basic cliché vs. originality and plot/character issues, but for basic mechanics and such, we may want a link to some online grammatical text or something. I'll look into it.
